How to choose the right wedding gown neckline, though? We have some tips for you – so read on and find out more.
The classic sweetheart neckline. This neckline has the shape of a heart and it usually comes in two versions – a deeper neckline and a subtler one, for brides who are more traditional. Romantic and really pretty, this type of neckline can actually flatter anyone because it elongates the neck and creates a beautiful posture.
V-neck. This neckline is also a classic – and it’s just perfect for brides looking for a slimming effect. V-necks usually look amazing with sleeved dresses – and this is great news, since long sleeved gowns are bound to be really popular at the end of 2018 and in 2019 as well.
Scoop neckline. Also known as U-neckline, this type of wedding gown neckline can also flatter a variety of brides and their body shapes. The key is making sure it’s fitted to suit your particular upper side. Also, keep in mind that a scoop neckline is not the same as a jewel neckline (also U-shaped, but begins at the base of the neck).
High-neck. This kind of dress is perfect for the offbeat bride. It usually features a turtleneck (or t-shirt, in some variations) and embellishments around the neckline. This kind of dress can make a fantastic fashion statement – but pay attention to the hairstyle you choose, as well as the accessories you choose. Even a bit “too much” can become “way too much” when you’re wearing a high-neck wedding gown, so we would advise a lot of balance.
