How to on Thank You Cards

You are back from your honeymoon and the dust has settled. You are the newly anointed ‘Mrs’ and you have one more final thing left to do, wrap up your wedding planning – the Thank You cards. But…. how do you tackle this? What do you write? … and …speaking of which – how does Your Wedding Affair help you write your wedding thank you cards?!

I will explain below:

First a girl (and her husband) should be classy right? So, your Thank You cards must arrive in style and be addressed to your guests by name.

Second, share a personal touch with your guest by thanking them for what they gifted to you. If it was an item thank them for this and add a short line on how you wish to use this. If you were gifted money, thank them for their generosity and let them know you loved xyz that you bought (or are saving for).

Lastly, sign off as the new Mr and Mrs with love, and be sure to be true in your gratitude and love to your guests for being a part of your forever day. It really wouldn’t be the same without them!

Thank You notes are written from your heart to the friends and family that shared in your forever moment of I do. It might feel like one more thing on your list of wedding to do’s. But honestly. It is so much fun looking back through your photos together from your best day ever.
